RALEIGH, N.C. - December 10, 2001 - Mike Johnson and Tyler Salisbury today announced the formation of Webfargo Data Security, Inc., to focus on the implementation and support of Information Security products and services in the Research Triangle-Area of North Carolina. By partnering with Webfargo, companies will gain the benefits of an in-house IT Security staff without having to absorb the cost of doing so.
"Often, business are intimidated by the area of Information Security," said Mike Johnson, CTO and Co-Founder of Webfargo, "but it doesn't have to be that way. Webfargo's mission will be to work with our clients to demystify this subject, and provide valuable Security expertise, products, and services, to supplement the resources they may already have in-house."
Clients can choose to work with Webfargo's Professional Services team on a project-by-project basis, or choose a longer-term relationship by choosing one of Webfargo's Managed Services. "We have structured our Managed Services offerings to accommodate customers of any size or budget;" said Tyler Salisbury, President and Co-Founder, "Managed Services are typically viewed as a very expensive item - we have structured our packages so that almost anyone can take advantage of our knowledge to enhance the Security of their network infrastructure. Further, if a client has a specific initiative they need assistance with, they will find that our Professional Services team is ready and able to help."
Webfargo is structured to act as an outsourced Information Security department for their customers. "We feel that the type and level of services we provide has not been previously available in the Triangle Area," said Johnson, who added "but that is about to change."
