CARY, NC, January 17, 2005 - Webfargo Data Security, Inc., the Triangle's only locally owned provider specializing in managed security services, announced today that it saw its managed service revenues increase in 2004 at a 342% gain over 2003.

Success was felt in other divisions of the company as well, including Webfargo's vulnerability assessment revenue, which saw a 277% increase over 2003. Overall, gross profits were up 45%.

"We are excited to announce such outstanding growth in 2004. We are seeing that Triangle companies are following a national trend of focusing their IT budgets on proactive security, and much of our success is attributed that trend," said Tyler Salisbury, President and managing partner.

The company also honed its managed service product offerings, improved its vulnerability assessment methodology, and increased staff. "Webfargo grew and matured in a number of ways in 2004. Our quality of and commitment to customer service is evident through our 100% client retention rate. In addition, Webfargo added several notable clients in 2004 in the healthcare services industry, financial industry and pharmaceutical industry.
